We're a monthly Japanese snack subscription service that delivers a surprise mix of 8-10 Japanese treats. Snacks include a surprise mix of Japanese chips, chocolates, candies, cookies, DIY kits, and more!

How much does Japan Yum cost?

It costs $25/month with free shipping to the United States! Shipping to Canada is $11.99.

How do Japan Yum subscriptions work?

We offer two subscription types: monthly and prepaid. All subscriptions ship by the 25th of the month. Monthly subscriptions cost $25/month and can be cancelled any time. First time subscriptions are charged immediately upon checkout, while renewals are charged on the first of every month.

Pre-paid subscriptions cost as little as $22.92/month depending on the plan. First time pre-paid subscriptions are charged immediately in upon checkout in full, while renewals are charged on the first of the month after the subscription cycle ends. Please note that pre-paid plans are charged in full upon checkout and renewal.

What is the monthly cutoff date?

The cutoff day to order each month's box is 10 days before the end of the month. For your convenience, the cutoff date for each month will always be displayed on the home page on our website.

Do the snacks have any food allergens?

The snacks in our boxes may include any of the following food allergen: wheat, milk, nuts, seafood, and soy. If you are allergic to any of these, please reconsider ordering a box.

What payment methods are accepted?

We currently accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx). We do not accept cash, check, or any virtual forms of payment at this time.

Gifts & Gift Cards

How do gift subscriptions work?

Gift subscriptions work the same way as regular monthly and pre-paid subscriptions; however, instead of receiving the box yourself, the box will be shipped to your gift recipient.

How do gift cards work?

You can buy Japan Yum gift cards for values of $25-$100. After buying a gift card, you'll get an email with the gift code to redeem it. If you're buying the gift card for someone, don't forget to forward the email you received to them. Gift cards are redeemable during checkout or can be applied on your account page.

Are gift card refundable?

All gift card purchases are final and non-refundable. Please keep this in mind when purchasing a gift card.

Do gift cards expire?

Japan Yum gift cards never expire.

Subscriptions & Cancellations

How do I manage my subscription?

You can manage your subscription anytime on your account page after logging in. Once logged in, you can change your subscription plan, skip next month's box, cancel your subscription, reactivate your subscription, or update any account information.

Why did my subscription renew?

All of our subscription plans renew automatically after the subscription cycle ends on the first of the month, including pre-paid and gift subscriptions. It is your responsibility as a subscriber to manage your subscription plan accordingly.

What is your cancellation policy?

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. However, cancellations will only cancel any future subscription renewals. Cancellations will not refund any payments that have already been charged. Failure to cancel a subscription before the renewal date will result in an automatic renewal charge and cannot be refunded.

Shipping & International

When will my order ship?

All subscription and shop orders ship by the 25th of every month. Orders placed in December will ship earlier so that your snacks and/or gift orders will arrive before Christmas.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will be emailed a tracking number. You may track your order using your tracking number here.

Will you replace damaged/missing items?

If your box arrives damaged or is missing items, please take photos of it immediately and contact Customer Service within 14 days of its arrival for a replacement. If we do not have any exact replacements available, we may send you a different box.

Does shipping include customs & taxes?

Customs and international tax fees are included in the shipping price. It is your responsibility as a buyer to account for these fees and we will not be held liable for such fees. If you refuse to accept your package to avoid such fees, we will refund you the cost of the box minus the shipping fee.

How much does Japan Yum cost in my country?

All of our prices, payments, and refunds are shown and processed in USD. You may use a currency convertor to estimate the price, but your bank will have the final say on the conversion of currency at the time of purchase.
